Quantum Physics II: Course Description
As scientific research continues to advance, methods used in science education must also be updated.
This OpenCourseWare will combine with its successor, 'Quantum Physics III,' to form a comprehensive method for quantum mechanics emphasizing current practices in physics. Professor Iain Stewart will begin with a general synopsis of quantum mechanics. Later, students will work through quantum dynamics, angular momentum and the Radial Equation. This OpenCourseWare is in lecture format and includes homework assignments and a reading list. Students will also have the opportunity to analyze experiments that apply to the course material. In addition to 'Quantum Physics I', the course website recommends taking 'Linear Algebra' as a prerequisite.
Assignments, related experiments and the reading list are all provided for free online. Individuals interested in this OpenCourseWare should visit the Quantum Physics course home page.
